The "William C. Gorgas and the Great War" exhibit at the Gorgas House Museum on the UA campus commemorates the Centennial Anniversary of United States involvement in World War I and William Gorgas's role as Surgeon General of the United States Army. The exhibit offers an exciting glimpse into the experience of Alabamians in the global conflict. In addition to detailing the life and impact of General Gorgas, the exhibit delves into the lives of soldiers and students affected by WWI. Important topics include Camp Sheridan and the lauded 167th division. The exhibit runs through September 2017.
