"Publicly Identified: Coming Out Activist in the Queen City" is an exhibit featuring materials from the King-Henry-Brockington LGBTQ Community Archive of Charlotte. These exhibits feature over 80 years of the LGBTQ community history of Charlotte and represent the lived experiences of local people and their struggle to become a visible and active community. This is not "The" history of LGBTQ Charlotte but "A" history that seeks to uncover what we know and what we don't yet know about a community working, fighting, and thriving in the South."
