UA's College of Community Health Sciences hosts a presentation and panel discussion, "The Mental Health Crisis in Jail." Speakers include Dr. Marisa Giggie, an associate professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine for the College and chief psychiatrist for the Tuscaloosa County Jail, as well as Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Ron Abernathy and the Honorable M. Bradley Almond, presiding judge of Tuscaloosa's Mental Health Court and circuit court judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit.
