4th Annual Tuscaloosa Runs for Veterans 5K

The Fourth Annual Tuscaloosa Runs for Veterans 5K Run/Walk will be held November 9 at the McAbee Center at the VA Medical Center, with all proceeds benefiting Tuscaloosa military organizations.
Hosted by the Veterans Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama and sponsored by Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports, the event aids local charities including the Tuscaloosa Veterans Memorial Park, the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center Homeless Shelter, and the University of Alabama / Shelton State Community College Emergency Relief Fund, which provides assistance to veteran students in dire financial need.
Participants can pre-register on Eventbrite for $20, or register onsite for $25. Registration for Tuscaloosa Track Club members is $15. Registration starts at 7 a.m., and the run begins at 8 a.m. The McAbee Activity Center is located at 3801 Loop Road in Tuscaloosa.
