The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA’s primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA General Industry Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.
The OSHA 10-Hour training for the General Industry course includes several topics related to general industry work such as Personal Protective Equipment, Flammable and Combustible Liquids, Machine Guarding, Lockout Tagout Procedures, safety engagement programs and more.
Open to all Industries
Safety committee members, supervisors, managers, Human Resources, Risk Management, frontline employees & maintenance personnel will benefit.
Training Schedule:
Day 1: 8:00am till 5:00pm
Day 2: 8:00am till 11:30am
Presented by David O'Boyle, MS, CSP, Authorized OSHA Trainer
*Students will receive an OSHA Training Certificate and a Department of Labor OSHA Training Card upon completion of the course.
